motorola droid hacked - android 2.1 with multi-touch
Friday, December 18, 2009we showed you the video earlier this week of android 2.1 from the nexus one phone ported over to a motorola droid. that video simply showed you the new boot screen, well now we have actual footage of the phone in action with multi-touch or "pinch-to-zoom" going on all over the place.
the phone also has the flip feature in your picture gallery so you can flip between pictures easier than by using the arrows as we do on android 2.0.1.

Nice video. I thought I would miss multi touch from my iphone but overall it is not so bad. Hope to see this on the device soon. Thanks for making and sharing the video.

I'm confused. In another post on another site, someone who got an exclusive chance to try the Nexus One said that it did NOT have multi-touch. This looks like Nexus One on DROID with multi-touch. Is it a Nexus One port PLUS a multi-touch hack?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing its a multi-touch hack. I know people have hacked android 2.0.1 already and unlocked multi-touch so it's likely the same with 2.1.
