quake 3 ported to motorola droid

any quake fans out there? if you said yes to that then you are in luck. a milestone user has been working diligently over the past few weeks to port over quake 3 into a reliable state and has apparently accomplished just that. the guys over at android and me went through the task of installing and eventually playing it. check it out...
download qrcode is below, but understand it's not as simple as just downloading and installing an apk. from what i've gathered, you need to actually have a pc version of quake 3 and copy over files from that to your phone in order to get it running.

IDk how good the one that got pulled before were but this looks pretty good to play with I gotta get the files off the antique CD quake 3 arena. again the power of the Droid shows off.

ReplyDeleteI got it working on my droid and left the files uploading not @ home right now. and so everyone knows the files are around 430mbs. I will try to get the link and send it to kellex via twitter so check your dm's :)
